Steven Bleicher

Steven is a faculty member in the Arts and Humanities Program at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. He received both his BFA and MFA from Pratt Institute in New York. Steven has worked and taught at the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture; the State University of New York; Brooklyn College; and Marian College. He also served as Assistant Dean of the School of Art and Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He is a member of the College Art Association’s Educational Committee and is the Associate Editor of FATE in Review, the journal of Foundations in Art Theory in Education. He serves as an educational consultant in foundation curriculum and program design.

Steven is also an accomplished artist whose work is included in many collections. His artwork is widely displayed both nationally and internationally in numerous exhibitions.
