Poppy Evans

Poppy Evans is Assistant Professor of Communication Arts at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, where she has been teaching since 1994. Her background includes experience as a graphic designer and magazine art director, as well as serving as Managing Editor for HOW magazine.

Over the past 15 years, Poppy has written hundreds of articles for design publications such as HOW, STEP, and Print magazines. She has authored or co-authored 14 books including Forms, Folds and Sizes, a production manual and reference guide released in 2004. Currently, she holds the position of board member for AIGA Cincinnati. Poppy is also the recipient of many awards for both her design and writing.
