Pete Rivard

Pete Rivard has racked up 24 years in the Graphic Communications industry with production and management experience in offset, gravure, flexography and digital print. For the past 11 years, Rivard has concentrated on workforce education, first as International Paper's Regional Technical Support and Training Specialist and the past 6 years as Principal Instructor-Digital Imaging position at Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, MN.

Rivard was named the Julian Andersen Outstanding Graphics Instructor of the Year in 2002. The Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF) awarded his program the 2004 Excellence in Post-Secondary Education Award. In the past six years, Dunwoody students have won over eighty regional and national awards for printing excellence. Rivard is devoted to the task of program recruitment and industry awareness among high school students, and travels the length and breadth of Minnesota and neighboring states talking up graphics and printing careers.
