Terry Rydberg

Terry Rydberg is an instructor at the Harry V. Quadracci Printing and Graphics Center at Waukesha County Technical College, and has extensive experience working in the graphics industry as a page layout professional and a corporate trainer. Her educational background includes AAS degrees in graphic design and printing and publishing; a BS in Vocational, Technical and Adult Education; and a Masters in Education. Her career parallels the industry's evolution from phototypesetting and paste-up to digital production methods.

Rydberg teaches advertising design, graphic design, typography, portfolio development, digital page layout, advanced digital page layout, and color theory. She is an annual presenter at the Ladd Marek Teachers' Institute, a professional development conference for high school graphics instructors. She developed Graphic Design for Educators, a masters level course designed to assist instructors with portfolio development and the visual component of curriculum design. In 2003 she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Western Wisconsin Technical College in La Crosse.
