Billy Woody

Billy Woody has been in the industry of visual effects since leaving college in 1993. A graduate of the University of central Florida with degrees in Technical Theatre and Radio 7 Television Production, Billy moved to Chicago to begin his career in digital visual effects working for Electrogig, a 3D animation software company. From there California called and he relocated to San Francisco where he continued to work for Electrogig while beginning his freelance career.
Over the next decade Billy worked with or supported just about every major studio in the visual effects community. Having either worked directly with or supporting other artists, Billy has gained a vast knowledge of the visual effects industry. During this time Billy has developed trained classes for several visual effects software packages as well as instructed 3D animation classes at the American Film Institute in Hollywood. Currently Billy works for Apple computer Inc. supporting the award winning visual effects software Shake.
