Behind
Exploring 3D Modeling with Cinema 4D:
My 3D
modeling classes are among my favorites. Mainly, this is
due to the students' reactions to the material. 3D modeling
and animation courses, like no other I know of, allow students
unprecedented control over the art they create. Like very
few other fields, 3D allows for disintegration between fiction
and reality. A student, working alone, can become director,
producer, set designer, casting agent, cameraman, and much
more. Of course, students' enthusiasm is terribly infectious
and so I can't help but love work in this area. My goal
with this book is to capture some of that excitement as
i prepare students for advanced work in this field by laying
a solid foundation; both practical and theoretical. Tutorials
and exercises are essential but my hope is that I can help
students understand 3D modeling by taking a balanced approach
lacking in my other books. - Tony Alley
