Philip
Krejcarek is a professor of art and co-chairman of the Art
Department at Carroll College, Waukesha, Wisconsin. He has
taught there since 1977. He has taught courses in photography
and electronic imaging, as well as art history, drawing, sculpture,
and ceramics.

This
book is an introduction to the world of digital imaging
through the use of Adobe Photoshop. Rather than taking a
technical approach to digital imaging, the intent is to
address the computer as another tool at the disposal of
the artist. The exercises and assignments stimulate creativity
and develop imagination without overwhelming one with technical
