Behind Exploring Basic Black & White Photography:

The text was written for a foundation class for schools and colleges with photography programs or fine arts programs with an emphasis in photography. I found that many students in other colleges are required to take a black & white photography class, but do not need an extensive text for this purpose – they only need the basics. This text is intended to be the first step toward a career in photography, or an introduction to the medium for those who are interested in learning how to use the camera as a tool for better images, for developing film, and for making prints. – Joy McKenzie
